The Small Business Legal Counsel Package is a special service offered by CIP Counsel in order to provide small and start-up business the opportunity to obtain General Counsel Services or IP attorney services for their business at a fixed monthly fee.  CIP Counsel serves as outside General Counsel or IP Counsel for a company at a predetermined price.  Often smaller and start-up companies do not have the level of business to justify either a full time General Counsel attorney or a dedicated IP attorney.  This prevents companies from taking advantage of the comparatively lower average daily cost offered by an in house attorney.  Frequently, there are also a number of smaller and different matters that arise on a weekly or monthly basis.  Often, obtaining legal counsel for numerous individual matters can result in exceedingly high billable hours.  Unfortunately, this has the effect of discouraging companies from contacting outside legal counsel for small matters.

With the Corporate Counsel Monthly Package companies have ongoing access to attorney services for either general counsel services or IP counsel services for one flat monthly fee.
